I would.
If It were that easy then it would be.
Sometimes I just want it all to just up and end.
But there’s a part of me attached.
That part that doesn’t want to lose a good friend.
If I could just walk away.
I’d leave, close the door and never look back.
But when I had nowhere to go and no one to turn to---you were right there.
You had my back when I didn’t know I needed the support.
If I could just walk away.
I’d do so without a tear or a second thought.
But it’s deeper than what it appears to be on the surface.
If only I could just walk away.
I would.
